Musician Wicliff Tugume, aka Ykee Benda, has called upon Ugandan artists to cancel all the booked shows they are slated to perform in Saudi Arabia.
The Mpaka Records boss was speaking following the arrest of Fik Gaza, which took place earlier this week. Ykee explained that Ugandan promoters based in Saudi Arabia are selfish.
They can sabotage one another's shows and even call the police to arrest the musician just for their own gain.
"The last time I performed in Saudi Arabia was like hell; the promoters there are selfish and don't wish one another well. They can call the police on you, and I appeal to all musicians to cancel the booked shows for Saudi Arabia because it's tough there," he partly said in a video that made rounds on social media.
Ykee Benda also revealed that he will not be performing in Saudi Arabia again.
